Trust or betray.
The choice is yours.

TrustClash is a real-time competitive multiplayer game built on a simple but ruthless premise: every decision you make either builds or destroys trust — and your NODS balance reflects exactly how well you're playing the meta.

Real-time Decisions

Every charge cycle (~15 seconds) you target another player and fire a move. No turns, no waiting — just live pressure.

🤝

Trust Mechanics

Mutual cooperation pays out more than solo betrayal. But the player who defects first wins more — if they read the room right.

🏆

Season Rankings

Compete across seasons. Top NODS earners at season end share a USDC prize pool. Higher rank = larger share.

⚔️

Alliance Warfare

Form alliances with other players for bonus NODS while staying together. But alliances can be betrayed — choose wisely.

NODS — Your Score,
Your Standing

Every player starts with 100 NODS. Every action you take changes that number. NODS aren't just points — they're your reputation, your leverage, and your ticket to season rewards.

  • Start at 100 — grow through smart play
  • NODS decay while you're offline — stay active
  • Reach 200+ NODS to qualify for season prizes
  • Higher NODS = bigger share of the USDC pool

NODS change for every move pair. Strategy determines everything.

Simple to learn.
Impossible to master.

TrustClash operates on a continuous, real-time trust-or-betray loop inspired by the Prisoner's Dilemma, but with a fast-paced multiplayer twist. Unlike turn-based games, the tension never stops. Every charge cycle, you must decide whether to cooperate (BOOST) or defect (SPIKE) against another player. If you both cooperate, you both earn a significant amount of NODS. However, if you cooperate and they defect, you lose NODS while they score a massive payout. This dynamic creates a constantly shifting web of alliances, betrayals, and calculated risks.

As you navigate the core trust loop, you also passively accumulate Pulse charges. Pulse moves are powerful, limited-use abilities that can entirely shift the momentum of a room. You can deploy a BLOCK to protect yourself from incoming attacks, use SURGE to double your next payout, or EXPOSE another player's hand to the entire room. Timing your Pulse moves perfectly is often the difference between clinging to the top of the leaderboard and dropping out of contention entirely.

To ensure no strategy remains dominant forever, the arena periodically experiences Flux events. These server-wide anomalies inject sudden, unpredictable modifiers into the game—such as doubling all losses for a minute, instantly restoring everyone's Pulse charges, or temporarily hiding the leaderboard. Flux events force you to adapt on the fly, abandoning long-term plans to survive the immediate chaos. Your ability to read the room, manage your resources, and predict your rivals through these unpredictable conditions is what ultimately determines your success.

Climb & Collect

Accumulate NODS, hold your rank through season end, and claim your share of the USDC prize pool on-chain.

Five core moves.
Endless combinations.

BOOST
Mutual: +9 each
Betrayed: −4 / +10

Open a cooperation handshake. High reward if mutual, punishing if they defect.

SPIKE
Success: +4 / −10
Blocked: −4 / 0

Instant steal attempt. Punishes idle targets but risky against prepared players.

ECHO
Mirrors their last move against you

Tit-for-tat strategy in one button. Perfect against exploiters, useless against new targets.

READ
No NODS change

Reveals the target's last 5 moves. Intelligence gathering — worth a cycle when you need to know.

COUNTER PULSE
Success: −1 pulse from target
Fails: target offline or at 0

Drain one pulse charge from any target. Disrupts their ability to use powerful Pulse moves. Fails silently if they're offline or already at 0.

Pulse Moves — earned passively every 20 s (max 10 stored): BLOCK SURGE EXPOSE DISRUPT ABSORB BROADCAST

Real rewards.
On-chain.

Every season ends with a USDC prize pool distributed to qualifying players. Reach 200 NODS and 100 actions to qualify. Your rank determines your share — top players earn significantly more.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is TrustClash free to play?
Yes. TrustClash is completely free to play. There are no entry fees or pay-to-win mechanics. Just connect your Telegram account and start playing.
How do I earn USDC?
At the end of each season, players with a minimum of 200 NODS and at least 100 actions qualify for the prize pool. The higher your final NODS ranking, the larger your share of the USDC payout, which is distributed directly on-chain.
What is the core trust mechanic?
The core mechanic is based on the Prisoner's Dilemma. During each cycle, you choose to trust (BOOST) or betray (SPIKE) another player. Mutual trust yields steady rewards, but sudden betrayal offers an immediate spike in score—at the cost of your reputation and potential retaliation.
What are NODS?
NODS are your in-game score and currency. You start with 100 NODS. Your balance fluctuates based on your interactions and decays slowly when you are offline. NODS determine your leaderboard rank and your eligibility for the season's USDC rewards.
What are Pulse moves?
Pulse moves are powerful tactical abilities (like BLOCK, SURGE, and EXPOSE) that you earn passively over time. They let you defend against attacks, multiply your gains, or reveal critical intelligence about other players.
What are Flux events?
Flux events are server-wide modifiers that occur randomly. They might double all NODS lost, instantly fill everyone's Pulse meters, or scramble the UI. They force players to immediately adapt their strategies to survive.
Can I play on mobile?
Absolutely. The TrustClash web interface is fully responsive and optimised for mobile browsers, ensuring you can make split-second decisions and monitor your rank on the go.
Is this a web3 game?
TrustClash uses on-chain payouts for its seasonal USDC rewards, meaning it integrates with web3 infrastructure to pay winners securely. However, the gameplay itself is fast, real-time, and off-chain, avoiding transaction fees and latency during play.
How long is a season?
A season is exactly one day, and rewards are dispersed immediately after the season's end, giving users continuous rewards.
How do alliances work?
Players can form implicit alliances by continuously using BOOST on one another. Some players coordinate via Telegram to secure mutual growth. But beware—there are no enforced rules, and any alliance can be broken by a sudden SPIKE when the stakes are high.
